State of the Art Repair Facility Added to KLazyS RR
It appears that nothing can stop the flood of Mike's Train House rolling stock and accessories onto the KLazyS RR. And it's not just little accessories like Flashing Barricades, or even Operating Water Tanks. Now that out of control purchasing department (their motto is "always go for a good deal!") has acquired an Engine Shed. The following digital photographic evidence shows the new repair shop in use on the Guest Room Floor Subdivision.
| Here we see the Engine Shed in the early morning light, illuminated from
within by the shed's overhead lights along with the Atlantic's lights and
firebox.
The track on the left (foreground) is the fine old Lionel Super "O" that has been so important to the smooth operation of the KLazyS RR's other subdivisions. But we see from the track on the right (where the Atlantic is sitting) that the Guest Room Floor Subdivision has started using MTH RealTrax (Louie the Lion wouldn't be pleased!). |

| Here we get a most extraordinary view of the Engine Shed, it appears the roof has just been lifted right off, as if by a giant pair of hands. Sure hope this wasn't the result of a tornado or some freak industrial accident! | ![]() |
Visible under the second (rear most) support cross member is the gantry crane. We also can see a nice comparison of Super "O" track (left) and RealTrax (right). |
Truth be told (really this is the truth) the wonderful new Engine Shed appears to be the center of rolling stock / motive power maintance work on the KLazyS RR but here is a secret photo of the real backshop!
